Meet the Instructor

Yamilette Rodriguez is a bilingual teacher with over 17 years of experience in the public education system & is certified in elementary school grades EC-4th in the state of Texas.  

Ms. Rodriguez also had the opportunity to teach virtually for companies like Qkids Online, All Kids Spanish,  and ClassShare USA for three years where she acquired skills that allow her to facilitate online lessons that are engaging, focused and geared to each student's individual goals. 

Her interpersonal skills also provide learners with patience and empathy during class which are crucial, especially when students are struggling with a concept. She's an active listener to her students and also adapts her style to meet individual student needs. She is able to provide encouragement and constructive feedback during lessons and creates an inclusive learning environment for students of different backgrounds and abilities. 

"My main goal is to help students overcome their roadblocks in reading and writing to gain the confidence they need and become successful long-life learners.  My lessons are tailored to students interest and all four domains are included during each: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing".
