Meet the Instructor

Yamilette Rodriguez is a bilingual teacher with over 18 years of experience in the public education system & is certified in elementary school grades EC-4th in the state of Texas.  

Ms. Rodriguez also had the opportunity to teach virtually for companies like Qkids Online, All Kids Spanish,  and ClassShare USA for three years where she acquired skills that allow her to facilitate online lessons that are engaging, focused and geared to each student's individual goals. 

I believe young children learn best when they feel confident, supported, and understood — especially during the critical early years of reading and language development. Too many children fall behind simply because they need instruction that honors how they process language, particularly ESL learners navigating more than one language. My purpose is to help children build strong literacy foundations early, so learning feels empowering instead of frustrating — and so parents can feel confident their child is truly supported.

At PeakPower Learners, I use engaging, phonics-based instruction designed for virtual learning. Lessons are personalized to each child’s language background, learning pace, and attention span. I focus on clear sound–letter connections, structured reading strategies, and interactive activities that keep young learners engaged online. By combining proven literacy methods with a calm, encouraging approach, I help children develop confidence, independence, and a genuine love for reading — all from the comfort of home.

I provide virtual one-on-one tutoring for students in Grades 1–4, specializing in reading, language arts, ESL instruction, and Spanish with a strong emphasis on phonics.
